The 12 km journey from DXB takes just 15–25 minutes and is straightforward by metered taxi or Dubai Metro. Dubai Metro Red Line from Terminal 1 or 3 to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station takes about 25 minutes for AED 8 ($2). Metered taxis cost AED 50–70 ($14–19) including flag fall and airport surcharge. Careem and Uber cost AED 35–55 ($10–15). A pre-booked transfer costs $15–22 with meet-and-greet.

Have your destination written in the local script or share a Google Maps pin to avoid misunderstandings, especially for hotels on small lanes.
